The surroundings

Finestrat sits at the foot of the Puig Campana, the 1,406-metre mountain that shapes the landscape around Benidorm. The old village centre lies inland against the slope. On the coast the municipality has its own beach, Cala de Finestrat, and the La Marina shopping centre. Benidorm borders Finestrat directly, with its shops, restaurants and hospitals a few minutes' drive away. The regional hospital Marina Baixa is in Villajoyosa, about 10 km away. Alicante airport is about 50 km away via the AP-7.
