Residencial Jardines Cala is located in Cala de Finestrat, an area of Villajoyosa on the northern Costa Blanca, Alicante province. The developer is building apartments and penthouses here. Delivery is planned for June 2028.

The development

The complex comprises 47 apartments with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, all including their own parking space and storage room. Ground-floor homes have a private garden, the middle floors have spacious terraces and the penthouses have large open terraces, some with their own solarium and private pool. The kitchens are luxurious and fully equipped, the bathrooms have furniture, mirrors, shower screens and electric towel radiators, with underfloor heating and fully installed ducted air conditioning. Eighty per cent of the materials come from the Porcelanosa Group and the homes achieve an A+ energy rating. Shared facilities include beach-style outdoor pools, landscaped gardens, an outdoor gym and a covered wellness area with a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi.

The surroundings

Villajoyosa, La Vila Joiosa in Valencian, is a fishing town with an old centre of brightly painted houses on the beach. It is known for its chocolate factories and has a harbour, a long promenade and the town beach Playa Centro. Benidorm is 8 km away, Alicante 30 km. The tram to Alicante and Benidorm stops in the town. The regional hospital Marina Baixa is in Villajoyosa itself. Alicante airport is about 40 km away.

The homes are not yet key-ready. Delivery is expected in June 2028. Six units are currently available, priced between 296,750 and 986,750 euros.

A new-build apartment usually comes with a communal pool, a lift and a parking space or storage room. The owners share a monthly fee for the upkeep of the common areas.

You buy off plan here: the home is built after you sign the purchase contract. In Spain the builder must cover your stage payments during construction with a bank guarantee or insurance. Completion follows the municipal occupancy licence.
