The surroundings
Finestrat sits at the foot of the Puig Campana, the 1,406-metre mountain that shapes the landscape around Benidorm. The old village centre lies inland against the slope. On the coast the municipality has its own beach, Cala de Finestrat, and the La Marina shopping centre. The area offers the Aqua Natura, Terra Mítica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar theme parks, the Sierra Cortina and Villaitana golf courses, hiking and climbing routes on the Puig Campana, and opportunities for water sports.
